Women in Timber Ghana

Empowering Women, Restoring Forests

We are a non-profit association dedicated to creating sustainable livelihoods for women, protecting biodiversity, and driving reforestation along the timber value chain in Ghana.

Our Vision

Our Forest, Our Future

Women in Timber Ghana champions gender equality and environmental resilience by active involvement in forest resource management. We create capacity-building networks, encourage agroforestry enterprise development, and establish community-led nurseries to restore Ghana’s beautiful woodland ecosystems.

By empowering women with technical skills and ecological knowledge, we are fostering alternate income streams that reduce dependencies on illegal timber harvesting while preserving resources for generations to come.
